Wallingford had a very successful day at the Masters Championships in Nottingham picking up two Golds, three Silvers and a Bronze medal. The Wallingford/St Edward’s Martyrs MasC quad of Mike Edge, Pete King, Andy Hull and Ric Colborne took an early lead in the A/B/C event, and held on to win by 2 seconds over a MasA quad from Broxbourne. In the WMasCI3 doubles event Christy Job and Becky Waller also led to 500m and opened out their lead to win by 5s and take the Gold. Silver medals came in the MasD coxed four, the MasC double and the women’s MasD double, and Pete King stole a bronze medal in the MasC single by less than a second.
